ANZRP Panel Discussion – The Privacy Puzzle

ANZRP PanelAustralia and New Zealand Recycling Platform (ANZRP) is Australia’s only not-for-profit, industry-for-industry, Government approved Co-regulatory Arrangement (CA) operating under the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme (NTCRS) established as part of the Product Stewardship Act 2011

In May 2016, ANZRP hosted a panel discussion in Sydney, in order to explore how technology is responding to – or shaping – consumer perceptions, at a time when consumer research indicates that data privacy concerns are a significant barrier to e-waste recycling.

Rob participated on this  expert panel panel together with Alec Christie, Partner, Digital Law, Ernst & Young; Angela Bunting, Vice President, eDiscovery, NUIX; Keran McKenzie, API Evangelist & Developer Relations, MYOB; and Carmel Dollisson, CEO of ANZRP

Discussions explored consumer priorities, current challenges and how they’re adapting their products and the way they operate as a result.

Attendees included government, not-for-profit and industry stakeholders.
